QUEENS HEAD WILCANNIA is a Heritage-listed delicensed hotel built of local sandstone and brick serving first drinks in 1877.
It's the most original and intact of the thirteen pubs from Wilcannia's hey days of paddle steamer transport and endless dirt roads.
The historic building has been reactivated since 2016 with assistance from HERITAGE NSW, CENTRAL DARLING SHIRE COUNCIL, and many many wonderful helpers.
It now houses a private residence, a RIVER MEETING GALLERY in the former bar and parlour, an Airbnb four room bed and breakfast in the old accommodation rooms, a workshop and visiting artist studio.
And it is currently offered for freehold sale. See link previous page.
