The semi-desert country surrounding Wilcannia displays a feast of tough resilient endemic flora communities and a bare-bones geology depicting deep time at a glance.

Here you travel hundreds of kilometres across ancient sea floors. On foot you stumble upon stone tools made thousands of years ago. There are few people or buildings. Stations are 100,000 acres in ten paddocks. Water is scarce.

This collection represents conversations with that country and its people. It continues an exploration of deep time, colour as medicine, and ways of understanding vastness.
